A ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO EM PACIENTES SUBMETIDOS À VENTILAÇÃO MECANICA

RESUMO

A ventilação mecânica é o emprego de uma máquina que substitui total ou parcialmente, a atividade ventilatória do pacientes, com o objetivo de restabelecer o balanço entre a oferta e a demanda de oxigênio, diminuindo a carga do trabalho respiratório. É indicada para os casos de insuficiência respiratória grave, lesões neurológicas, acidentes, procedimentos cirúrgicos, anestesias. A investigação ora apresentada teve por objetivo geral Identificar e analisar a acerca da temática a atuação do enfermeiro em pacientes submetidos à ventilação mecânica e objetivos específicos; Descrever o mecanismo da ventilação através de uma revisão anatomo fisiológica do sistema respiratório. Abordar a evolução histórica dos ventiladores mecânicos. Identificar a opinião dos teóricos sobre o ventilador mecânico ideal. Verificar quais os efeitos da ventilação mecânica nos pacientes. Verificar quais as condições que favorecem o aparecimento de infecções e outras complicações decorrentes do uso do ventilador mecânico. Identificar a importância do embasamento cientifico na assistência de enfermagem prestada a pacientes submetidos à ventilação mecânica. Descrever e fundamentar cientificamente a assistência do enfermeiro frente à pacientes submetidos à ventilação mecânica. A metodologia utilizada foi bibliográfica do tipo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, o que compreende um conjunto de técnicas interpretativas que visam descrever e a decodificar os componentes de um sistema complexo de significados. Foram pesquisados os bancos de dados disponíveis no meio eletrônico, realizado um estudo das principais obras consideradas clássicas para a temática em questão, além das principais publicações em periódicos especializados, sítios especializados da internet e outras obras em destaque dos últimos dez anos. Conclui-se que para que o diminuir o risco de complicações o enfermeiro precisa aplicar uma assistência fundamentada em ações que visem o melhor aporte ventilatório, melhorando o acumulo de secreções através de cuidados: Vigilância constante, monitorização do padrão respiratório, aspirar secreções e o controle de infecções.

ABSTRACT

Mechanical ventilation is the use of a machine that replaces all or part of the ventilation in patients activities, aiming to restore the balance between supply and demand for oxygen, reducing the burden of respiratory work. It is indicated for cases of respiratory failure, neurological damage, accidents, surgery, anesthesia. The investigation now appears aimed to identify and analyze the general on the theme the role of a nurse in patients on mechanical ventilation and specific goals; describe the mechanism of ventilation through a review physiological anatomy of the respiratory system. Addressing the historical development of the mechanical ventilators. Identify the views of theorists on the mechanical ventilator ideal. Verify that the effects of mechanical ventilation in patients. Verify that the conditions that favor the emergence of infections and other complications arising from the use of mechanical ventilator. Identifying the importance of scientific basement in the nursing care provided to patients undergoing mechanical ventilation. Describe and explain scientifically the assistance of nurses to patients before mechanical ventilation. The methodology was kind of descriptive literature, with a qualitative approach, which includes a set of interpretive techniques that aim to describe and decode the components of a complex system of meanings. We searched the databases available in electronic media, conducted a study of major works considered classic for the themes concerned, in addition to the major publications in specialized journals, specialized Internet sites and other works focus on the past ten years. It follows that for the lower the risk of complications the nurses must implement an assistance based on actions aimed at better ventilation intake, improving the build up of secretions with care: constant surveillance, monitoring of respiratory pattern, suck secretions and control of infections.
